Overview

As Director of Product Management, you will own Streams end-to-end, guiding a PM team to make Elastic the easiest platform to bring data to for every solution and customer. You define strategy for data collection, ingestion, processing, and routing, and create a self-service data onboarding experience. You collaborate with Observability, Security, and Search leaders to offer a shared service and drive measurable outcomes. This role shapes a scalable telemetry ingestion layer essential to Elastic’s platform and customers.

Responsabilidades

- Own the strategy and roadmap for data collection, ingestion, processing and routing, and the integrations framework
- Define and track KPIs focused on product and feature adoption
- Partner with Observability, Security, and Search product leaders to provide a shared service




- Make data ingestion self-service with time-to-first-data in minutes
- Lead a distributed PM team to deliver measurable outcomes
- Drive roadmap priorities with customers, internal teams, and the community
- Collaborate with engineers and designers to scope and define features
- Enable sales, marketing, and partners with clear messaging and positioning

Requisitos principales

- 10+ years in product management
- 4+ years leading PM teams in data infrastructure, observability, or data pipelines
- Deep technical fluency in telemetry ingest: OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, log processing, routing, and agent management
- Experience shipping SaaS products with usage-based pricing
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Familiarity with the Elastic Stack is a plus
