In this role you will design and maintain scalable cloud data architectures and pipelines to unlock data value for international projects. You will collaborate with data scientists, analysts and stakeholders to deliver robust data solutions on Google Cloud Platform. You will optimize data processing, quality and performance across batch and real-time workloads, while focusing on reliability, cost efficiency and governance. Responsabilidades

- Design and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines for ingestion, transformation and storage in BigQuery and Cloud Storage
- Develop batch and real-time processing solutions using Dataflow (Apache Beam) and Pub/Sub




- Build and optimise SQL transformations with Dataform and complex BigQuery queries
- Orchestrate workflows with Cloud Composer (Airflow) and Cloud Functions
- Support data governance, metadata management and lineage using Dataplex; monitor pipelines for reliability, scalability and cost efficiency
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts and stakeholders to deliver effective data solutions and stay updated with GCP developments

Requisitos principales

- 3+ years of hands-on Data Engineer experience
- GCP experience with BigQuery and Dataflow (Apache Beam)
- Strong Python skills (pandas and/or PySpark) and advanced SQL
- Solid understanding of data warehousing, ETL/ELT and dimensional modelling
- Experience integrating APIs and streaming data (Pub/Sub)
- Familiarity with Cloud Composer or Apache Airflow
- English proficiency at B2 level or above
