Overview

In this role, you lead the Core Commerce platform engineering for Schneider Electric’s shared Adobe Commerce foundation, enabling multi-market, headless commerce solutions. You will shape platform strategy, drive reusable patterns, and ensure secure, scalable, and SaaS-ready implementations. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into robust designs and guide platform changes with an App Builder-first mindset. This is a hands-on leadership role within Schneider Digital that influences future commerce capabilities and ecosystem health.

Responsabilidades

- Design, develop and enhance Adobe Commerce Core capabilities and integrations.
- Translate functional and non-functional requirements into robust technical designs and components.
- Troubleshoot defects, performance and integration issues with root-cause analysis.
- Serve as the senior reference for the Core Commerce Platform and assess shared vs application-specific needs.
- Recommend reuse, consolidation, or retirement of modules to reduce duplication and complexity.




- Define and implement GraphQL queries, REST APIs, and headless patterns for consuming apps.
- Lead code/design reviews and promote automated testing and engineering quality controls.
- Improve reliability, observability and upgrade readiness; collaborate with DevSecOps and cybersecurity teams.
- Provide technical guidance and knowledge sharing across teams and partners; document designs and decisions.

Requisitos principales

- Strong hands-on Adobe Commerce or Magento development experience.
- Proven ability with GraphQL schemas, REST APIs and platform integrations.
- Experience with headless/composable commerce architectures and shared platforms.
- Solid understanding of security, performance, maintainability and reliability.
- Aptitude for high-quality technical designs, code reviews and documentation.
- Ability to work independently, set priorities and navigate ambiguity; communicate complex choices to tech and non-tech stakeholders.
