In this role you lead the Global UX engineering team responsible for Elastic UI (EUI) and shared design system infrastructure. You oversee delivery, roadmaps, and people development, collaborating with Design and Product leadership to align priorities. You will balance long-term design system investments with urgent internal requests, driving dependable delivery across the organization. Responsabilidades
- Lead and grow a team building and maintaining Elastic UI (EUI) and shared design system infrastructure
- Own and communicate delivery cadence including sprint planning, quarterly roadmaps, outcomes, and stakeholder reporting
- Manage hiring, onboarding, performance, and career growth for engineers
- Foster a strong team culture and health in a distributed, async-first setup
- Represent Integral UX in cross-functional planning with engineering, design, and product leadership
- Remove blockers by negotiating dependencies, addressing friction, and escalating risks
- Track adoption and health metrics of the design system to inform roadmap priorities
- Build relationships with design system consumers and tailor the roadmap to their needs
- Support experiments with AI-assisted design-to-code workflows and developer tools
- Balance innovation with delivery commitments
Requisitos principales
- Experience leading design system, component library, or shared UI/platform infrastructure teams
- Proven track record of delivering through a defined cadence for multiple internal stakeholders
- Frontend knowledge (React, TypeScript, component architecture) with ability to discuss tradeoffs with Tech Lead and engineers
- Experience hiring, developing, and growing engineers into senior roles
- Strong stakeholder management and ability to share roadmaps, tradeoffs, and risks with leadership
- Proven ability balancing platform investment with urgent feature requests
- Excellent written and verbal communication in a distributed team
- Experience using data and adoption metrics to inform roadmap decisions
- Collaborative leadership style that builds trust without requiring dominance in technical conversations
