Overview

As Data Stewardship Manager, you will shape and implement the R&D; digital and data roadmap for the Molecules organisation. You collaborate with scientists, laboratory teams, Data Science, and IT/Digital to translate scientific needs into scalable digital solutions. You will establish a trusted data foundation to speed up R&D;, improve decision-making, and enable AI-enabled capabilities. This role offers the chance to impact how data is governed, standardised and used across analytical techniques and laboratories.

Responsabilidades

- Represent Molecules in shaping and implementing the R&D; digital and data roadmap
- Lead scientific workflow and data discovery sessions to map processes, data flows and decision points
- Drive adoption of data standards and digital workflows; train users and support onboarding
- Collaborate with IT/Digital, Data Sciences, and laboratory teams to harmonise data structures
- Coordinate data stewardship and governance for analytical and drug development data
- Define and maintain data standards, metadata, taxonomies, and FAIR principles
- Translate scientific needs into data and system requirements for ELN, LIMS, repositories and other solutions




- Ensure lean data practices while meeting data integrity, quality, regulatory, and GxP requirements where needed
- Enable automation, advanced analytics, and AI through fit-for-purpose data
- Coordinate with stakeholders across IT/Digital, Quality, Regulatory, and R&D;

Requisitos principales

- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biochemistry, Data Science, or related discipline (desirable)
- Experience in pharmaceutical or Biotech R&D;, analytical development, laboratory informatics, or scientific data management
- Ability to manipulate, analyse, and automate scientific data workflows
- Strong understanding of analytical laboratory workflows and associated data
- Practical knowledge of data governance (metadata, data quality, data lineage, data ownership, taxonomies, lifecycle)
- Experience translating scientific requirements into structured data and technology requirements
- Strong communication, problem-solving, facilitation, and stakeholder-management skills
