Overview

In this role you will lead the BestIaaS team within the GITOPS group, shaping the corporate infrastructure strategy and driving automation, reliability, and security. You’ll partner with SDOPS, Platform and other GITOPS teams to deliver scalable, high-performance infrastructure. As a culture architect, you’ll raise standards, coach engineers, and foster a data-driven, outcome-focused environment. This is a chance to influence enterprise technology at a general, market-leading travel platform.

Responsabilidades

- Own the technical roadmap for Corporate Infrastructure focusing on scalability, reliability, and security
- Design, implement and evolve infrastructure platforms and core corporate services
- Promote engineering best practices, standardization and automation across the ecosystem
- Ensure availability and performance of infrastructure services; drive continuous service improvements
- Lead major incidents and coordinate complex troubleshooting when needed
- Identify opportunities to automate operations and push for Infrastructure as Code and AI-driven improvements
- Lead,



mentor and develop a high-performing team; foster ownership and technical excellence
- Collaborate with SDOPS, Platform, security, networking and other GITOPS teams; participate in governance and cross-team initiatives
- Translate business needs into robust technical solutions; enable business growth while maintaining stability
- Support employee technology experience with reliable, modern infrastructure services
- Act as a bridge between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders

Requisitos principales

- 5+ years in a leadership role within IT Operations or Service Management
- Experience building and leading cross-functional, Agile teams
- Strong communication skills to articulate strategies to diverse stakeholders
- Proven leader with budget management experience
- Data-driven with ability to derive insights from data
- High level of drive, accountability and ownership of outcomes
- Fluent English
- Experience with Applied AI tools (preferred) and curiosity for AI-driven solutions
- Adaptability and learning agility; willing to explore new AI capabilities
- Collaboration with AI and pairing programmers mindset (preferred)
