Overview

As Lead Game Designer at Gameloft, you will shape the overall game vision and ensure a cohesive player experience across systems and levels. You will lead the design team, collaborate with cross-functional departments, and drive innovation in AAA-style experiences. You’ll balance meta-game progression, UI/UX, and narrative to deliver engaging action genres on PC/console. This role offers impact through cross-team collaboration and shaping ambitious projects in a global studio.

Responsabilidades

- Define and execute the game vision with studio stakeholders and leads
- Direct tone, gameplay, and meta structure to foster innovation and a strong AA experience
- Lead the design team for cohesive player experience
- Coordinate with level design for aligned mechanics and progression
- Anticipate and mitigate threats to quality and innovation
- Build collaboration with Art, UI, Tech, Online, Data, Audio,



Production and HR
- Allocate and plan resources and roadmap with managers and producers
- Participate in recruitment for game designers

Requisitos principales

- 6+ years in game design with lead or principal roles
- Released at least two titles as lead/principal/senior designer
- Proven 3Cs and gameplay systems design for PC/Console action genres (sports, racing, combat, shooters, open world)
- Experience prototyping with Unity or Unreal
- Proficiency in meta-game progression systems, balancing, UI/UX, level design, and narrative
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Up-to-date knowledge of gaming market and trends
- Ability to retain a defined creative strategy while adapting to changes
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, Figma
- Fluent in English
