About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced Ingeniero de DevOps Senior to join their fully remote engineering team. This is a critical role focused on building and maintaining scalable, reliable, and secure infrastructure to support their growing suite of applications. You will be responsible for implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines, automating deployments, optimizing infrastructure performance, and ensuring system availability. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), and infrastructure as code (IaC). As a senior member of a remote-first company, you will play a key role in shaping our DevOps culture, mentoring junior engineers, and driving best practices across the organization. Key Responsibilities

- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated building, testing, and deployment.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Manage and orchestrate containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Monitor system performance, availability, and security, and implement solutions to optimize them.
- Automate operational tasks and processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.




- Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure smooth and reliable releases.
- Implement and maintain robust logging, monitoring, and alerting systems.
- Ensure security best practices are followed throughout the infrastructure lifecycle.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues promptly.
- Stay current with the latest DevOps tools, technologies, and best practices.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or a related role.
- Strong proficiency with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Extensive experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, Ansible, etc.).
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python, PowerShell).
- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).
- Strong understanding of networking concepts, security principles, and monitoring tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills in a remote setting.
- Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack is a plus.
