Our client, a respected financial services firm based in Mérida, Yucatán, is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Analista de Gestión de Inversiones to join their dedicated investment management team. This is an important on-site role focused on supporting portfolio managers in the analysis and management of investment portfolios. We are looking for an individual with a strong quantitative background, a keen interest in financial markets, and excellent analytical abilities. The successful candidate will gain valuable experience in portfolio construction, performance measurement, and risk analysis within a dynamic environment. This position requires full-time commitment at our Mérida office.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist portfolio managers in conducting research and analysis of securities and market trends.
- Develop and maintain financial models for valuation and investment analysis.
- Monitor portfolio performance, risk exposures, and investment guidelines.
- Prepare performance reports, investment commentary, and presentations for clients and internal stakeholders.
- Conduct due diligence on potential investments.
- Execute trades under the direction of portfolio managers.
- Reconcile portfolio holdings and transactions.
- Stay informed about economic developments, industry trends, and regulatory changes affecting investments.
- Collaborate with trading, compliance, and operations teams.




- Assist with ad-hoc analytical projects as needed.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
- 1-3 years of experience in investment analysis, portfolio management support, or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of investment principles, financial markets, and asset classes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with financial databases (e.g., Bloomberg, Refinitiv) is a significant advantage.
- Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Spanish.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
