Senior General Ledger Accountant role supporting Intuitive Surgical's Iberia finance operations for one year. The position executes core accounting processes including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger for Spain and Portugal while collaborating with senior accountants and cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Execute daily accounting activities including AP, AR, general ledger, and travel/expense processing
- Verify invoice and expense report compliance with company policies; validate account coding in SAP
- Prepare payment proposals, perform bank postings, and assist with bank reconciliations
- Support monthly close activities including reconciliations, VAT preparation, and external audit support
- Collaborate with FP&A; and finance teams on management reporting and finance projects
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
- 3–5 years of accounting role experience
- Proficiency with ERP systems, particularly SAP and Concur
- Fluent in English and Spanish; Portuguese preferred
- Strong Excel and MS Office skills
- Knowledge of accounting principles (AP, AR, GL)
