About the Role

Our client, a well-established software development company located in León, Guanajuato , is looking for a meticulous and skilled Ingeniero de QA Automatización. This role is essential for ensuring the quality and reliability of our client's software products through the design and implementation of automated testing frameworks. You will be responsible for developing automated test scripts, executing test cases, and analyzing test results to identify defects and areas for improvement. The adecuado candidate possesses a strong understanding of software testing principles, proficiency in automation tools, and a keen eye for detail. You will play a critical part in maintaining high software quality standards, contributing to the successful delivery of robust and user-friendly applications developed in León .

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using various testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, Cypress).
- Execute automated test suites and analyze test results, reporting defects and issues clearly.
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to understand software requirements and design effective test strategies.
- Identify opportunities for test automation and contribute to the continuous improvement of the QA process.
- Perform regression testing to ensure new features do not negatively impact existing functionality.
- Document test plans, test cases, and test results thoroughly.
- Participate in code reviews for test automation scripts.




- Stay updated with the latest advancements in test automation technologies and methodologies.
- Ensure the overall quality and stability of software released from our León development center.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in software quality assurance, with a strong focus on test automation.
- Proven experience in developing automated test scripts using at least one major automation tool (e.g., Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, Playwright).
- Proficiency in one or more programming or scripting languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript).
- Experience with API testing tools and methodologies.
- Understanding of SDLC and Agile development methodologies.
- Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Experience working in an office environment in León, Guanajuato.
