Key Responsibilities

- Administering and maintaining server infrastructure (Windows Server, Linux), including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Managing network devices (routers, switches, firewalls) and ensuring network security and optimal performance.
- Implementing and maintaining robust security measures, including intrusion detection, VPNs, and access controls.
- Monitoring system performance, identifying potential issues, and implementing preventative solutions.
- Developing and executing backup and disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity.
- Managing user accounts, permissions,



and access rights within the Active Directory environment.
- Leading IT infrastructure projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and new technology deployments.
- Providing high-level technical support and mentoring junior IT staff.
- Staying current with emerging technologies and industry best practices in systems and network administration.
- Collaborating with other departments to ensure IT solutions meet business needs in Madrid .

Requirements

- Extensive experience as a Systems Administrator and Network Administrator.
- In-depth knowledge of Windows Server and Linux operating systems.
- Strong understanding of networking protocols, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and network security principles.
- Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper‑V).
- Proficiency in managing firewalls, VPNs, and other network security appliances.
- Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, and related services.
- Excellent problem‑solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong leadership and project management capabilities.
- Relevant certifications such as MCSE, CCNA, or equivalent are highly desirable.
