Job Role – Project Manager (Controls Engineering Background) Industry – Data Centre Duration – 6 Month Contract Rate – €70-80/ hour all inclusive Type of Role – Freelance G2 are supporting a major client in recruiting a Freelance Project Manager with a strong Controls Engineering background, for a hyperscale Data Centre project in Zaragoza, Spain.

Responsibilities:
Managing day-to-day service ticket solutions and ensuring timely resolution of technical issues. Coordinating planned maintenance activities across controls and building systems. Managing relationships with vendors, suppliers and specialised subcontractors on site. Supporting operational planning and administrative project activities. Overseeing BMS/EBMS-related works within a mission-critical data centre environment.



Monitoring progress, reporting project updates and driving solutions to technical and operational challenges. Requirements to be considered: Proven experience as a Project Manager, Service Manager or Controls Engineering Manager. Previous experience working on data centre projects is essential. Strong background in Building Management Systems (BMS / EBMS).
Hands‐on experience with Niagara N4, Ignition SCADA and Eaton Foreseer. Experience coordinating vendors and managing specialised subcontractors. Able to work independently in a fast-paced mission-critical environment.
