We're looking for an Operations & Business Co-Founder to handle the administrative and operational side of our AI productivity startup, freeing up the rest of the team to focus on building and growing Benno. We're still a small startup, so this isn't about managing complex processes or large departments. It's about taking ownership, getting things done, and making sure important work doesn't fall through the cracks. Since our current operational workload is relatively small, we'd also like you to contribute in other areas, particularly testing the product, marketing, or fundraising, depending on your experience and interests. • Have a strong interest in productivity We're looking for a hands-on generalist who enjoys solving problems and is comfortable doing whatever needs to be done. WHAT YOU WILL DOYour primary responsibility is to take care of operational and administrative tasks so that other co-founders can focus on their core responsibilities. This includes:
• Operations & Administration: Managing company documents, contracts, registrations, and administrative tasks.
• HR & Recruitment: Coordinating recruitment, onboarding, co-founder agreements, and contribution tracking.
• Finance & Bookkeeping: Tracking expenses, invoices, payments, and coordinating with accountants.
• Third-Party Services: Managing external providers, subscriptions, renewals, and payments. In addition, we'd like you to take on responsibilities in one or more additional areas, depending on your strengths:
• Product Management: Help develop product requirements, test functionality, and coordinate improvements.
• Marketing: Help attract users, organize campaigns, and support our growth activities.
• Fundraising: Research potential investors, prepare materials,



manage investor outreach, and coordinate fundraising activities. You don't need experience in all these areas. We're interested in finding someone whose skills complement our existing team. OUR CO-FOUNDER MODELWe are organized as a founder cooperative. Everyone in the core team works under the same co-founder agreement. We try to combine the best of socialism and capitalism. On one side, the company is shared among the people who build it. On the other side, ownership has to be earned through your work contribution. The principle is simple: Work more, earn more ownership. Work less, earn less ownership. Your share grows or shrinks dynamically depending on your contribution compared with the contributions of the other co-founders. We currently have no revenue yet, so at the beginning there is zero cash compensation. Everyone in the founding team is currently contributing their work in exchange for ownership. We are preparing for investor outreach and expect revenue and funding to come later, at which point cash compensation can become possible. WHAT WE ARE BUILDINGWe believe that over the next months and years, people will increasingly work with specialized AI agents that are easily accessible through tools like WhatsApp and Slack. Benno is our specialized AI agent for productivity and work management. A general AI can help with almost anything, but we believe a specialized AI can make much better productivity decisions when it has the right context about your goals, projects, tasks, priorities, available time, and previous work. Our system is designed to give the AI the context it needs to make good decisions while making interaction as simple as possible. At the same time, if you take your work or organization seriously, chat alone is not enough. You also need a dedicated interface where goals, projects, tasks, plans, and productivity data are structured properly.
