You'll be one of our first AI Strategists, building custom AI solutions from scratch for Smartcat's largest strategic customers. You don't need to be a software engineer, but you do need real fluency with modern AI tools, fast experimentation, and a builder's instinct. You'll engage senior executives to define where AI creates value, then build the agents and workflows that deliver it, and bring customer insights back to Product. Work with structured and unstructured customer data, including vector databases, MCP, and RAG, and build agents that combine semantic and keyword search across customer knowledge bases and content Build and test a first custom AI solution or agent for a live customer opportunity Run enablement or training for the customer's team and support their adoption An AI‐first way of working: real hands‐on experience with AI coding tools such as Claude, Cursor, Cline,



or similar ("vibe coding"), used as the default way you build, test, and solve problems Hands‐on experience building with Python, along with AI coding tools such as Claude, Cursor, or Cline; SQL or data analysis is a plus Familiarity with vector databases, MCP, RAG, and agent design Comfort with the command line, basic Linux administration, and cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP) The ability to translate ambiguous business problems into practical, scalable AI solutions, and to drive projects end to end Comfort engaging both technical stakeholders and senior executives, and translating between the two, with strong communication and collaboration skills A global, connected team We're a team of 200+ people across 30+ countries, working together through a hub‐and‐spoke model anchored in eight key locations: Most of our roles are remote‐friendly, giving you the flexibility to do your best work from where you thrive.
