Key Responsibilities

- Provide first-level technical support to retail staff for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve problems with point-of-sale (POS) systems, printers, scanners, and other store equipment.
- Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software on-site and remotely.
- Assist with the setup and deployment of new IT equipment and systems in stores.
- Respond to technical support tickets in a timely and efficient manner.
- Document technical procedures, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions.
- Collaborate with the IT department to elevate complex issues and ensure effective problem resolution.
- Conduct basic training for store staff on the use of IT systems and equipment.

Requirements

- Proven experience (minimum 2 years) in IT support, preferably in a retail environment.
- Strong knowledge of hardware (PCs, printers, POS systems) and software (Windows OS, common office applications).
- Experience with network troubleshooting (TCP/IP, Wi-Fi).
- Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical users.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in both on-site and remote settings.
- Flexibility to travel to different store locations in the Cartagena area as needed.
