This position will focus on working with other R& D staff members to create lab scale and pilot batches of polyurethane adhesives, sealants, elastomer and coatings. The successful candidate will regularly meet senior R& D staff to obtain projects and to provide updates on progress.
Key Responsibilities: Assist senior R& D staff with developing formulations from lab scale testing to pilot batches. Conduct lab testing on R& D products and production products, as needed. Ensure laboratory chemicals and supplies are maintained. Aid in the maintenance of a clean laboratory. Maintain detailed records of observations and testing from product trials. Manage and prioritize multiple ongoing tasks.
