Freelance Integration Engineer | Barcelona We’re looking for a hands-on Integration Engineer to take ownership of an international company’s enterprise integrations during a transformation programme. You’ll map existing flows, connect new applications and retire legacy platforms, keeping critical Finance, HR and identity data moving reliably across systems. ? What you’ll do
• Design, build and maintain integrations and automations using Workato.
• Connect enterprise applications including SAP S/4HANA, HiBob and Okta.
• Map existing flows, dependencies and data ownership.
• Manage migrations, platform decommissioning and cut-overs.
• Improve monitoring, error handling, security and documentation.
• Work directly with Finance, HR, IT and Security teams. ? What we’re looking for
• 5+ years of experience in enterprise integration, iPaaS or application engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with Workato, or deep expertise in MuleSoft,



Boomi or Celigo and the ability to learn quickly.
• Experience integrating SAP S/4HANA or another major ERP.
• Solid knowledge of REST APIs, authentication, webhooks and data mapping.
• Experience delivering migrations or decommissioning projects in production.
• Fluent English, autonomy and strong documentation skills. ✨ Nice to have Experience with HiBob or another HRIS, Okta/SCIM, AWS S3, SFTP, Python or JavaScript, and integration architecture. ? The mission
