Company Description Motion4 (Hawa Dynamics) is the Swiss Hawa Group company specialising in automation for sliding doors. Building on years of work with linear motors, we design, industrialise and manufacture drive systems based on this technology in Barcelona. We are the Hawa Group's R&D; centre for automation, with an international presence. We work as an agile company, backed by an international group. The Challenge You will join our R&D; department alongside senior professionals with extensive experience in linear motors, product design and industrialisation. You will start with a learning plan, supported by them. We are looking for someone who can grow fast: we expect that, within a relatively short time, you will take on responsibility for the mechanical side of our linear motors. What you will do ? Take part in the mechanical design of new products and the evolution of existing ones ? Be involved in the full development cycle: concept, prototype, validation and certification ? Support industrialisation: design for manufacturing and assembly, work with suppliers and transfer to production ? Work with the electronics, software,



production and quality teams ? Collaborate closely with the R&D; department of our parent company in Switzerland What we are looking for ✅ Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, or similar ✅ Around 4 years of experience ✅ Must have: hands-on involvement in product development and/or industrialisation projects ✅ Proficiency with 3D design tools (SolidWorks or Inventor) ✅ Fluent English: you will use it daily with the R&D; team in Switzerland ✅ Initiative, eagerness to learn and to take on responsibility early Nice to have ➕ Experience with electromechanical systems or electric motors ➕ Background in sectors such as automation, doors, elevators or automotive ➕ Knowledge of GD&T;, FMEA and manufacturing processes
