Your role purpose The Junior Quality Engineer is responsible for assisting in the execution and management of various projects and tasks within the organization. This role involves supporting the successful execution of projects, ensuring correct execution of testing protocols related to raw material and fiber characterization in compliance with standards, and supporting in the development and implementation of project strategies

Your responsabilities

Project management:

- Support the management and oversight of projects from initiation to completion (e.g. PCW, raw material characterization,production trials, commercial samples…)
- Perform and develop test methodologies and quality controls on raw material, fiber or others, depending on the nature of the project.
- Develop and maintain work instructions related to the protocols and methodologies used within the projects.
- Monitor and report on project status, risks, and issues to senior management.
- Coordinate with different stakeholders during the diferent project phases and track relevant data to verify correct implementation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate project initiatives into overall project plans.
- Conduct detailed investigations and create reports for communication to all stakeholders involved.

Continuous Improvement:

- Identify opportunities for process improvement and project enhancement.




- Implement best practices and efficiency enhancements to optimize project-related processes.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement by supporting quality awareness and initiatives.

Documentation and Reporting:

- Maintain accurate documentation of project activities, including project plans, projects database, corresponding reports, and tracking of performance metrics.

Generate regular reports to communicate project status and results, as well as any improvements to stakeholders.

Work Experience Requirements

- 1 to 3 years of experience in project management or a related field.
- Notions in Quality and Laboratory Management Systems (ISO 9001, ISO 17025, etc.

Competencies required

- Basic knowledge of project management methodologies.
- Experience in quality engineering and quality management, preferably in a manufacturing environment within the textile or material science industry.
- Basic knowledge in textile materials and statistical analysis and data-driven decision-making.
- Familiarity with root cause analysis (RCA) techniques and problem-solving methodologies.
- Familiar with Quality Management System (e.g.: ISO 9001) applied to job position’s task and responsibilities.

Other requirements

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as textile engineering, quality management, or project management.




- Communication and collaboration skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and SharePoint.
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
- Capable of multitasking, adaptable to change, able to work under guidance.
- Proactive and willing to learn.
- Fluent understanding of English (both written and spoken).
- Travel may be required to visit project sites or attend meetings.

Role of the department The Quality Department defines, implements, and monitors policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure compliance with standards (e.g., ISO 9001), regulatory requirements, and customer specifications across hubs.
