About the role:

We are looking for a highly analytical and proactive Pricing Specialist with 3+ years of experience to contribute to our new Short-Term Rental (STR) pricing project. The role will focus on developing and improving pricing approaches, analyzing pricing, utilization and market trends, and supporting the rollout across different countries.

You will work closely with Group Pricing in Germany, the different Sales Units, and Product Management in an international environment. This is a strategic and project-oriented role, ideal for someone who enjoys challenges, is confident working with different stakeholders, and is motivated to further develop our rental pricing approach.

Key Responsibilities:

- Further Development: develop our rental pricing methods and processes toward a more structured, data-driven approach.
- STR Project: contribute to the group-wide Short Term Rental pricing project, from concept to rollout.
- Price Models: develop rental price models, including rate structures, utilization-based pricing and yield management.
- Analysis & Monitoring: analyze rental rates, utilization and market developments, and propose adjustments.
- Price Adjustments: simulate, calculate and implement price changes.
- Interfaces: act as the central contact for rental pricing inquiries from the sales units and product management.
- Processes & Systems:



integrate rental pricing methods into our processes and systems.

Requirements:

- At least 3 years of experience in Pricing within the Rental business
- Alternatively, candidates with a strong background in Pricing, or with experience combining Rental and Controlling or Rental and Revenue Management, can also be considered.
- For candidates with a Rental background, a strong understanding of key rental drivers, such as utilization, rental rates, and seasonality, is desirable.
- Advanced Excel skills, including experience building pricing models and performing pricing-related analysis.
- Fluent English, both written and spoken

Soft skills:

- Strong analytical skills and a highly analytical mindset.
- Independent, proactive way of working and ability to collaborate across countries and functions

Nice to have:

- Proficiency in SAP ERP
- Experience with yield management or dynamic pricing
- Experience with pricing software (e.G., Pricefx) or rental management systems
- Power BI, SQL or Python
- Experience in professionalizing pricing processes or methods
- Knowledge of German
