Through a structured Sales and Operations Planning process, the role establishes cross-functional planning governance and enables effective decision-making, optimal service, healthy inventory, and strong operational performance.
Key responsibilities
Integrated Business Planning and governance

Operational purchasing and inbound coordination
- Own operational purchase planning with contract manufacturing organizations.
- Coordinate purchase orders and inbound freight through delivery to the central distribution center.

Inventory and performance management
- Review sales forecast accuracy, inventory health, supply performance, and planning KPIs.
- Initiate and drive corrective actions where performance is below expectations.
- Lead inventory optimization initiatives through segmentation, policy reviews, and planning-parameter governance.
- Monitor key measures including supplier on-time performance, sales forecast accuracy, and inventory days of supply.
Product lifecycle management
- Lead Product Lifecycle Meetings covering product launches, discontinuations, and product transitions.
- Coordinate planning activities and stakeholder alignment for new product introductions and lifecycle changes.
Planning transformation and capability development
- Lead planning transformation projects across Europe.
- Strengthen planning capabilities, ways of working, and cross-functional planning discipline.
- Support the ongoing development of planning processes and systems.
Candidate profile
You combine strong demand and supply planning expertise with the ability to lead regional, cross-functional processes. You are comfortable translating complex planning information into clear decisions and influencing stakeholders across commercial and operational functions.
