Kirey España is looking for a Technical Consultant with hands-on Murex experience, specialised in the Murex DataMart and in the integrations that feed and consume it.

The consultant will design, build, support and optimise the data flows between Murex and the bank's downstream systems (risk, finance, regulatory reporting and management information), working closely with business stakeholders and the internal technology teams.

The role combines deep technical delivery with clear communication: the consultant must be able to explain complex data and integration topics to non-technical audiences in both Spanish and English, and to document their work to a standard that survives handover.

? Key Requirements:

Technical

- Murex experience: Minimum 3 years of hands-on Murex MX.3 experience, with at least 2 projects involving the Murex DataMart.
- DataMart: Working knowledge of DataMart architecture, extraction and loading mechanisms, and the Murex data model for at least one core asset class (e.g., rates, FX, equities, credit, or commodities).
- Integrations: Proven experience designing and supporting Murex integrations (messaging, interfaces and file or API-based feeds) in a production environment.
- Data: Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server or PostgreSQL), including performance analysis.
- Operations: Experience with Unix/Linux command line and job scheduling or orchestration tools used in financial institutions.
- Governance: Experience working within controlled change processes (ITSM, change and release management, incident and problem management).

Professional

- Languages: Professional-level fluency in both Spanish and English,



written and spoken. Able to run meetings, present to senior stakeholders and write formal documentation in both languages.
- Communication: Clear, structured communication: able to translate between business and technical language, summarise complex issues concisely and escalate risks early.
- Sector experience: Demonstrated prior project experience in a tier-1 or large financial institution, ideally in a banking or capital markets context.
- Autonomy: Ability to work independently, manage priorities across parallel workstreams and take ownership of deliverables end to end.

?️ Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop and maintain Murex DataMart extractions, mappings, and loading processes, including data model changes and new reporting datasets.
- Build, test and support integrations between Murex and upstream and downstream systems (messaging, file-based and API interfaces), ensuring data completeness, accuracy and timeliness.
- Investigate and resolve production incidents and data discrepancies, with root-cause analysis and documented corrective actions.
- Perform reconciliations between Murex and source or target systems, and support data-quality controls and monitoring.
- Support regulatory and management reporting requirements that depend on Murex data,



including data lineage and traceability.
- Participate in requirements gathering, impact analysis, solution design and effort estimation with business analysts, architects and product owners.
- Contribute to release management, testing (unit, integration, UAT support), deployment and post-implementation review.
- Produce clear technical documentation: design specifications, runbooks, data dictionaries and knowledge transfer material.
- Mentor junior team members and share good practice across the Murex and data community within the project.

? Working model: Hybrid (1–2 days per week on-site at the client’s office in Madrid)

? Working hours: Monday to Thursday from 08:00/09:00 to 17:00/18:00, and Fridays and during the summer from 08:00 to 15:00
