Role Summary As Privacy Legal Counsel, you will play a key role as part of a global team in supporting privacy, data protection, and responsible data use by Medtronic primarily across the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region.
Working at the intersection of law, healthcare, technology, and digital transformation,



you will provide legal advice to business and functional stakeholders on complex data protection and privacy matters, helping the organization navigate evolving regulatory requirements while enabling innovation and operational excellence.
This position offers the opportunity to provide expert legal advice across a broad range of strategic initiatives including digital health, data governance, and artificial intelligence within a global healthcare environment.
This is an EMEA-based role.
Travel is expected to be up to 5%.
Responsibilities Advise stakeholders on privacy, data protection, and related regulatory requirements across the EMEA region.
Monitor and interpret legal and regulatory developments, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), United Kingdom General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), ePrivacy requirements, and other applicable frameworks.
Provide legal guidance on digital health solutions, artificial intelligence initiatives, data governance activities, secondary use of data, and new product developments.
Draft, review, and negotiate privacy-related agreements, including data processing agreements and data
