Sales Manager – Off-Site Catering & Corporate Outreach

Telefèric Barcelona is a high-end Spanish restaurant group with nine restaurants across Northern California, Southern California and Arizona, plus a central kitchen in San Leandro. We bring Barcelona to the table: tapas, paella, Spanish wine and a warm, convivial way of eating together. Events and catering is one of our fastest-growing business lines.
We are looking for a results-driven player-coach to lead our outbound catering sales team across all our markets. You will sell, and you will lead 2 Sales Representatives who do the same.
This is a hunter role. Our guest-relations call center handles inbound enquiries, so your team focuses on finding, winning and growing corporate accounts: tech campuses that need weekly team meals, offices planning holiday parties, event agencies, venues and private clients who want Telefèric at their site.
Key Responsibilities
Your own sales
Build and work a target list of corporate accounts, event agencies, venues and planners through outbound calls, email, LinkedIn and site visits.
Sell drop-off, full-service and recurring corporate meal programs. Run tastings, write proposals and menus with our culinary team, negotiate and close.
Own the largest and most strategic accounts and turn one-off orders into recurring programs.
Leading the team
Set individual quotas and assign accounts, segments or territories.
Run weekly pipeline meetings and one-to-ones with each rep.
Join calls and tastings, review proposals, and build a shared sales playbook.
Make sure every prospect, call, meeting and deal is logged in the CRM (Pipedrive) the same day.
Take part in hiring and performance management of the sales team.




Commercial control
Approve quotes within pricing and margin guidelines, working with operations on food and labor cost.
Represent Telefèric at corporate and industry events and work with marketing on targeted campaigns.
Deliver weekly pipeline reports and monthly revenue forecasts.
Requirements
5+ years in outbound B2B sales, with at least 2 in catering, corporate dining, events or hospitality.
At least 2 years leading or coaching salespeople against quota while carrying a personal number.
Proven track record of opening new accounts and beating quota, with numbers to show it.
Experience setting quotas, running pipeline reviews and building a sales playbook.
Strong CRM discipline (Pipedrive or similar required).
Working knowledge of off-site catering operations: minimums, lead times, staffing, delivery and food cost.
Confident on the phone and in person: cold calls, tastings, walk-ins.
Fluent English required; Spanish or Catalan is a plus.
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel regularly to Southern California and Arizona.
Strong plus: a Bay Area network of office managers, HR and workplace teams, executive assistants, planners or venues.
Spanish passport holder.
Willing to relocate to the United States.
Compensation & Benefits
$85,000 to $100,000 annually, depending on profile
