Job description (function and tasks):

We are seeking a postdoctoral researcher with expertise in epigenetics to join the ERC Advanced Grant MORPHEUS project. The position requires extensive experience in the study and manipulation of cancer stem cells, with a particular focus on modulating their bioenergetic metabolism to disrupt the adaptive mechanisms that support their survival.



The successful candidate will also contribute to the supervision and coordination of the overall progress of the project by supporting data management, coordinating team communications and logistical activities, and contributing to the dissemination and visibility of the project’s results.

Basic requirements of the position:

- Required qualifications: The candidate must hold a PhD in Biochemistry, Biotechnology or Medical Oncology.
- High level of spoken and written English.

Experience required:

- Experience in epigenetics, including DNA methylation analysis, histone modifications, chromatin, or epigenetic regulation of gene expression.
- Advanced knowledge of polymer science and a broad understanding of biological sciences, within a multidisciplinary research environment.
