Introduction

A key pillar of the R&S; strategy is growth in Aerospace & Defense Test & Measurement Systems. Service products are essential to that business, providing a significant share of revenue over the lifetime of the system and long term customer engagement.

The Integral Service Product Manager for A&D; Systems will:

- Gain deep insight into the global A&D; Systems Service market and customers' specific needs.
- Identify, design and implement service offerings that address those needs - instrument- and system-based.
- Build and maintain a service product portfolio that drives profitable growth.

This role is key to deliver complete A&D; system solutions and gain customer loyalty. Filling the position directly supports the Company's growth ambition.

The position is based in Madrid, at our Spanish subsidiary premises, and will functionally report to headquarters in Munich.

Tasks

- Provide model architectures and training processes, ensure reliable integration intoService product planning, definition of deliverables, NPI coordination and pricing for A&D; specific service needs.




- Cross divisional and cross product family project management for Service Development Proposals incl. financial success monitoring.
- Gain deep insight into the A&D; Systems market and customers' specific needs.
- Identify service offerings that directly address those needs.
- Design, implement, launch, and continuously maintain a standardized service product portfolio that drives profitable growth, including business cases, pricing models and ROI analyses for each offering.
- Work closely with Instrument and System Product Management, Sales, Technical Service Operations, R&D;, Marketing, Legal, Export Control and other functions to define specifications, SLAs, compliance documentation and go to market plans.
- Conduct regular customer facing activities (interviews, workshops, field visits, surveys) to elicit, document, and prioritize service requirements, feeding them directly into the product roadmap.
- Monitor key KPIs and use the data to refine the portfolio.
