Digitize the German midmarket with us as a Microsoft 365 Specialist – Managed Services

Your Tasks

- Providing and maintaining Defender baselines for Defender for Endpoint, Defender for Office 365 and Defender for Identity
- Hardening Microsoft 365 tenants according to tiered, CIS-aligned security levels, including documentation and a semi-annual review against the current standard
- Setting up and maintaining Conditional Access policy sets in Microsoft Entra ID: MFA for all users, blocking legacy authentication, protection of privileged roles, emergency access accounts (break glass) and device compliance
- Depending on the customer’s licensing: implementing Identity Protection and Privileged Identity Management (just-in-time activation)
- Operating self-services such as password reset and recovery keys, monitoring Service Health notifications, and providing monthly tenant, licence and security reporting
- Contributing to Intune endpoint management, Azure Virtual Desktop, OneDrive and Exchange Online – your own ideas and suggestions for improvement are expressly welcome

Operations, transition and continuous improvement

- Handling incidents, service requests and changes in line with ITIL 4 as the escalation level for the service desk, as well as problem management for recurring incidents
- Current-state analyses and deviation lists when building new customer environments or taking over existing ones, including piloting and go-live
- Maintaining service documentation and configuration states in the ITSM tool
- Contributing to service reviews and developing the baselines further together with the service owner
- Automating recurring tasks with PowerShell and Microsoft Graph




- Assessing new Microsoft features and vendor-side changes for their impact on our customers

WHAT YOU BRING WITH YOU:

- Completed IT vocational training, a degree in computer science or a comparable qualification
- Several years of experience operating Microsoft 365 environments, ideally at a managed service provider or in a larger IT organisation
- Very good knowledge of:

- Microsoft Defender, in particular Defender for Endpoint, Defender for Office 365 and Defender for Identity
- Microsoft Entra ID, in particular Conditional Access, MFA and the role model
- Zero Trust concepts

- Understanding of hybrid identities (AD, Entra Connect/Cloud Sync)
- Confident use of PowerShell
- Experience with ITIL-based processes (incident, change, problem)
- A structured working style with strong documentation skills and a passion for standardisation
- Strong customer and service orientation
- Empathy, team spirit and enjoyment in confidently representing our services and solutions to customers
- Good English skills (level C1)
