ESTATE MANAGEMENT COUPLE – PRIVATE SHOOTING ESTATE, SPAIN

An exceptional opportunity for an experienced Estate Management Couple with a proven background working on private shooting estates, specifically driven partridge shoots.

Location: Near Alcoi, Alicante Province, Spain

Position: Full-time, permanent – Estate Management Couple

Remuneration: Competitive package, dependent upon experience

We are conducting a confidential search on behalf of a private client seeking a professional, reliable and experienced Estate Management Couple to take responsibility for the day-to-day management, maintenance and smooth running of a private country estate in Spain.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENT – EXPERIENCE OF WORKING ON PARTRIDGE SHOOTING ESTATES

This is a specialist appointment, and applicants must have previous hands-on experience working on established shooting estates, ideally those specialising in driven partridge shooting .

We are particularly interested in hearing from couples who have worked together in similar environments and fully understand the standards, responsibilities and seasonal demands associated with managing a private shooting estate.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsibilities will be allocated according to each individual's skills and experience and may include:

- Day-to-day estate management, maintenance and general upkeep.
- Supporting the preparation, organisation and smooth operation of driven partridge shoots.
- Understanding and assisting with the practical requirements of game management, shoot days and associated estate activities.
- Maintenance of estate buildings, grounds, machinery and equipment.




- Ensuring the estate is presented and maintained to consistently high standards.
- Supporting the management of the private residence, housekeeping and hospitality requirements.
- Liaising with the estate owners, guests, contractors and external suppliers.
- Taking a proactive, hands-on approach to the overall running of the estate.

We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate:

- Proven experience working on shooting estates, with specific experience of driven partridge shooting.
- Previous experience in estate management, gamekeeping, shoot support or similar countryside estate roles.
- A practical understanding of the preparation, organisation and operation of shooting days.
- Strong property maintenance, grounds management and general estate management skills.
- Excellent housekeeping, hospitality and organisational capabilities.
- A trustworthy, discreet, self-motivated and hardworking approach.
- The ability to work independently and take responsibility for maintaining exceptionally high standards.
- A genuine interest in country pursuits and rural estate life.
- A willingness to relocate to Spain for a long-term appointment, where necessary
