At Itera Mobility Engineering, we are looking for a Vehicle Assessment Engineer to join our engineering team located in Almussafes, Spain. Main responsibilities of the position:
• Analyze and resolve technical and quality issues related to powertrain systems, including engines, transmissions, and thermal management components.
• Apply structured problem-solving methodologies (5D, 8D, and 6-Panel) to support root cause analysis and issue resolution.
• Manage and maintain engineering change documentation for vehicle programs.
• Review, analyze, and update Bills of Materials (BOM) for assigned components.
• Develop and propose technical improvements and added-value solutions for launch vehicles.
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery of components meeting quality, design, and program requirements.
• Provide technical support to cross-functional teams involved in vehicle launch activities.




• Present implemented solutions and technical decisions to the customer in relevant review forums.
• Identify, propose, and implement cost-reduction initiatives.

Requirements:
• Experience as a Powertrain Hardware Engineer (+2 years) in the automotive sector.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Previous knowledge in Automotive.
• B1 level of English or higher. Compensation and
