What you will do:

The Roles Key Responsibilities





The Rail Strategy Business Analysts mission is to contribute to the Rail strategic roadmap with business insights ie to generate business insights from data analysis so that they can translate into improvements across our rail product Working together closely with Rail leadership Responsible for execution of key analysis being the data entry point for the business team and taking ownership of the database from the business side Understand the business needs gather the data and present the key insights: Contribute to the Rail strategic roadmap with numbers Closely partner with crossfunctional teams Product Customer Experience Data Science Marketing etc to identify key metrics and develop dashboards that provide insights and drive decisions Develop and communicate business cases to support strategic product decisions: eg which new rail markets or routes should we prioritise? What should our pricing and inventory strategy be? Create dashboards and tracking: master the internal Business Intelligence tools to contribute to the monitoring and tracking of our business KPIs Work with data engineering and data science teams to be able to leverage all our internal data Contribute to the delivery of key Rail strategic projects: participate in the delivery of key internal projects giving support from the business and analytical side to ensure progress and effective delivery of the desired outcomes by influencing key stakeholders Be the eyes and ears of the Rail team absorbing and sharing both internally and externally relevant market information eg competitor developments with the wider team to inform decision making

Bachelors degree in a quantitative discipline Mathematics Statistics Computer Science Engineering Economics etc Strong analytical skills fastlearner with high attention to detail and focused on results and productivity Experience in a role with a strong analytical component Advanced Office skills Strong experience with analytical tools ideally with the Google toolset spreadsheets google docs etc Experience with using AI tools to analyse data and problem solve Knowledge of SQL as well as experience in working with databases and large sets of data; and experience with Google DataStudio is required A selfstarter and team player who also enjoys to have fun Business Proficiency in English Good to have experience in the Travel Industry Rail products consulting or B2C Subscription businesses

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Applied AI Tools: Demonstrated comfort using practical AI tools such as Gemini or other AIpowered assistants Experimentation Mindset: Curiosity and eagerness to explore experiment with and integrate emerging AIdriven solutions into workflows AIEnhanced Problem Solving: Ability to effectively leverage AI tools to streamline processes and enhance productivity Adaptability and Learning Agility: Enthusiastic about continuously learning and quickly adapting to new AI features and capabilities
