Europe or North America | Global Responsibility Travel: *% Global A major global technology and engineering organisation is investing heavily in the Pharmaceutical market and is looking to appoint a Global Pharma Business Development Leader to build and accelerate this strategic growth platform.
This is a genuinely high-impact opportunity for a senior commercial leader who wants to build a business rather than simply manage an existing customer base .
ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY The organisation is an established global provider of engineered technologies and solutions across hygienic processing, fluid handling and related industrial applications.
With a strong international presence and an established portfolio of technologies, the business is now placing significant strategic focus on the Pharmaceutical sector.
The successful candidate will take ownership of the global Pharma growth strategy, with responsibility for developing new markets, creating strategic customer relationships, influencing specifications and building a scalable pipeline of opportunities.
The ambition is to grow the Pharma business from approximately $5M today to more than $20M in annual revenue.
THE ROLE As Global Pharma Business Development Leader, you will:



Develop and execute the global Pharmaceutical growth strategy Build strategic relationships with pharmaceutical manufacturers, EPCs, engineering firms and system integrators Identify and influence projects at an early stage, before equipment specifications are finalised Develop and manage a significant general Pharma opportunity pipeline Drive specification wins and approved-vendor opportunities Build long-term relationships with senior engineering, procurement, validation and commercial stakeholders Lead strategic opportunity pursuits alongside regional sales teams Identify repeatable applications and develop scalable commercial solutions Support the development of validation-ready documentation, qualification packages and customer-facing materials Act as the internal Pharma subject matter expert Coach and influence regional sales teams around Pharma opportunities Work closely with Product Management, Engineering, Marketing, Quality, Operations and Service Help establish the organisation as a recognised partner for hygienic and aseptic processing within Pharma WHAT YOU'LL BRING 10+ years' experience within Pharma, Bioprocessing, Life Sciences, Hygienic Processing, Process Equipment, EPC or a related regulated environment A proven track record in business development, strategic
