Consultant

Amadeus Business Consulting (ABC) is a global unit and an integral part of the GSS – Global Accounts & Strategic Sales organization within the Amadeus Travel Unit.

Our mission is to provide business consulting and transformation services to the travel industry for lasting business outcomes — acting as a Trusted Advisor to our customers and Growth Accelerator to Amadeus.

We are looking for a knowledgeable Consultant to join the Amadeus consulting hubs based in Dubai/Madrid and contribute to ABC’s broader role as a integral expertise hub embedded in GSS.

Main responsibilities

- Deliver chargeable and non-chargeable consulting services to external customers, ensuring high-quality execution, clear business outcomes, disciplined delivery governance, and adherence to agreed scope, budget, and timeline.
- Provide consulting support to GSS, business domains, commercial teams, Customer Success, Pre-Sales, and strategy teams by translating customer needs into clear value propositions, business cases, and consulting-led engagement approaches.
- Engage with senior and executive stakeholders at customer organizations, bringing analytical insight, industry judgement, and structured recommendations to support transformation decisions and strengthen strategic relationships.
- Contribute to ABC and GSS priorities, including consulting practice development, reusable assets and playbooks, service incubation, value assessment methods, and initiatives assigned by ABC or GSS management.
- Develop strong expertise across relevant travel business domains and Amadeus solutions, and share knowledge with customers and internal teams to improve solution adoption, business readiness, and measurable value realization.

Requirements





- Relevant academic qualifications in Business, Management, Finance, or a related field, and/or equivalent professional experience.
- Communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively in an international environment.
- Experience in consulting, strategy, business planning, financial management, or related business functions
- Direct airline work experience or experience as an aviation consultant across several airline business domains, such as network planning, revenue management, commercial management and operations.
- Proven experience in airline Revenue Management, with a strong understanding of demand forecasting, inventory control, pricing optimization, and revenue steering,
- Familiarity with key concepts such as O&D; optimisation, bid price control, segmentation and willingness-to-pay modelling, as well as performance metrics such as RASK, yield and load factor.
- Ability to support airlines in Revenue Management transformation initiatives, including the adoption of dynamic pricing, integration with offer and order management, and optimisation of ancillary revenues through data-driven decision-making and advanced analytics.
- Interest in travel technology, openness to learning new solutions and products, and the ability to quickly build knowledge in a complex and evolving environment




- The position will require around 50% international travel.
