Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Business Architect to join a major business transformation program within a complex international environment. This role will be instrumental in shaping and evolving business architecture capabilities, ensuring strong alignment between business strategy, operating models, processes, capabilities, and technology landscapes.

As a key link between business and technology stakeholders, you will help translate strategic objectives into actionable business capabilities, transformation roadmaps, and architectural frameworks that support long-term organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

- Define, maintain, and evolve business capability models across multiple business domains.
- Establish governance standards for capability management, including taxonomy, hierarchy structures, naming conventions, and model consistency.
- Analyze business needs and translate them into capabilities, target operating models, and transformation initiatives.
- Develop and manage capability hierarchies and relationships across different levels of the organization.
- Conduct capability assessments, gap analyses, dependency mapping, overlap identification,



and impact evaluations to support strategic decision-making.
- Ensure alignment between business, enterprise, and technology strategies through effective capability management practices.
- Map business capabilities to processes, applications, value streams, organizational structures, and operating models.
- Support the harmonization and evolution of business capability frameworks across the organization.
- Collaborate closely with Enterprise Architecture teams to ensure alignment between business priorities and technology roadmaps.
- Contribute to the design and evolution of business architecture methodologies, operating models, and governance frameworks.
- Support business process architecture initiatives and maintain consistency across capability, process, and operating model views.
- Facilitate workshops with business and technology stakeholders to build consensus and drive alignment.
- Produce and maintain architecture artefacts, models, and documentation using industry-standard tools, primarily LeanIX.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders on business architecture and transformation topics.
