No Offer Description Power Systems group announces a position as Project Engineer (R1) to work on different technical research activities in the fields of Data Management, Communications, AI and Cybersecurity of Smart Grids. The tasks to be carried out will be focused to development and programming of tools to increase smart grid intelligence. Additionally, experimental activities and set ups within IREC’s lab facilities are expected.

a project related position with possibility of extension. Salaries will be paid in accordance with the IREC’s salary policy, depending on the candidate’s qualification and professional experience. Requirements Research Field Engineering Education Level Bachelor Degree or equivalent Research Field Computer science Education Level Bachelor Degree or equivalent Skills/Qualifications
* Bachelor or Master in computer Science, industrial engineering, Telecos engineering or other related degrees.
* Interest on energy and smart grid related issues
* Knowledge and experience on Network management
* Knowledge and experience with the following software: o Docker o AIRFLOW o Python, Java o DataBases o GIT o other Preferred (not all):
* Experience in collaborative and international projects
* Experience/knowledge in cybersecurity
