Backed by over €22m in funding, including an €8m seed round led by the NATO Innovation Fund and JOIN Capital, the team is working towards an orbital demonstration of the technology.We're hiring a Hardware Electronics Engineer to own power-conversion hardware design at their flagship facility in Nigrán, reporting directly to the CTO.What you'll doDesign and validate power-conversion hardware from concept and schematic through prototype bring-up and lab validation - not integrating off-the-shelf modules, but building the circuits yourself.What we're looking for3+ years of hands-on power electronics development,



with demonstrable ownership of DC/DC converter and high-voltage hardware designProven experience designing high-voltage circuits and/or power stages above 300VPractical experience with switched-mode DC/DC converters - topology selection, power-stage design, component sizingStrong understanding of converter control loops and stabilityWorking knowledge of HV insulation, isolation, creepage, clearance and protection requirementsExperience selecting and designing around MOSFETs, IGBTs, SiC and/or GaN devicesExperience with magnetics/transformers, thermal management and protection strategiesSchematic capture and power-electronics PCB design/review, including HV/high-current layout and EMI/EMC awarenessHands-on bring-up, debugging and lab validation - oscilloscope and power measurements, efficiency characterisation, root-cause analysisCompensationWe can offer excellent gross annual base salary, with flexibility for exceptional candidates with particularly strong HV/power-conversion experience.LocationOn-site in Vigo, Nigrán, Galicia.
