About the RoleOur client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Supervisor of Loading and Unloading Operations to manage the vital processes at their **Tarragona** facility. This role is pivotal in ensuring the efficient, safe, and timely handling of all incoming and outgoing shipments. This is a hands‑on role within a fast‑paced environment, offering a chance to make a tangible impact on the operational efficiency of our client's logistics network.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee all aspects of the loading and unloading process for trucks and containers.Supervise, train, and schedule a team of warehouse operatives engaged in loading and unloading activities.Ensure that all goods are handled safely, accurately, and efficiently according to established procedures.Monitor and manage dock operations, ensuring optimal flow and minimizing delays.Implement and enforce strict adherence to health and safety regulations within the loading dock area.Maintain equipment used in loading and unloading (e.G., forklifts, pallet jacks) and report any maintenance needs.Coordinate with the transportation department to ensure timely arrival and departure of vehicles.Conduct regular inspections of the loading dock area to ensure cleanliness, organization,
