Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Perform reconciliations of bank statements, accounts, and sub-ledgers.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and analyses.
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records and documentation.
- Liaise with external auditors and provide necessary support during audits.
- Process payroll entries and manage related accounting aspects.
- Assist with the preparation of tax filings and ensure timely submission.
- Identify and recommend improvements to accounting processes and systems for efficiency.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting roles.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles (PGC) and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, essential for remote work.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills in Spanish.
- Proven ability to work independently and manage workload effectively in a remote environment.
- Experience with virtual collaboration tools (e.g., Zoom, Slack, Teams).
- Adaptability and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
