Civil Project Manager
- Italian Speaker At Hays, we are looking for a Civil Project Manager to join a leading international renewable energy company committed to accelerating the energy transition through the development, construction, and operation of sustainable energy projects across Europe. You will become part of the Engineering team, providing support across Development, Construction, and Operations activities. This position plays a key role in ensuring the successful coordination and delivery of civil engineering aspects within renewable energy projects, with a strong focus on wind farm developments. This is a role for someone who enjoys coordinating multiple stakeholders, maintaining project oversight, and ensuring that all civil works progress smoothly and according to plan. The company is looking for a professional who can act as the central point of coordination, driving projects forward while minimizing risks and ensuring alignment between all parties involved. What you will do
- Coordinate external engineering consultants, contractors, and construction teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Review, validate, and challenge civil engineering designs prepared by third-party consultants.
- Oversee and monitor all civil engineering activities related to renewable energy projects.
- Ensure effective communication and alignment between internal teams, suppliers, and external stakeholders.
- Support project execution by identifying potential risks and ensuring timely resolution of technical and coordination issues.
- Manage interfaces between engineering, construction, development, and operational teams.
- Monitor project progress, ensuring quality standards, timelines, and project objectives are achieved.
- Provide technical guidance and support during construction activities when required.
- Maintain oversight of civil engineering deliverables and ensure all stakeholders remain aligned throughout project execution.




- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and engineering best practices within the organization. What we are looking for
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering . Master's Degree is a plus.
- 3-5 years of professional experience in Civil Engineering, Project Management, or Engineering Coordination roles.
- Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work autonomously while maintaining a practical, solution-oriented mindset.
- Experience reviewing engineering designs and coordinating multidisciplinary project teams.
- Good understanding of construction and project execution environments.
- Previous experience within the renewable energy sector is a plus.
- Experience in wind farm projects is highly desirable.
- Professional proficiency in English.
- Native or fluent Italian is mandatory.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Experience with InfraWorks or similar engineering design/review tools is considered an advantage. Nice to Have
- Experience working across international renewable energy projects.
- Exposure to both development and construction phases of utility-scale renewable projects.
- Knowledge of civil infrastructure associated with wind energy developments.
- Experience managing external engineering consultancies and contractors.
