You’ll work on SAP Transportation Management (TM) , designing and developing custom solutions that connect transportation operations, business processes and modern SAP technologies. The role combines advanced ABAP on HANA, SAP RAP, CDS Views, Fiori extensibility, TM PPF and SAP BTP integrations , with exposure to SAP BRIM .

This is a 12-month project with possible extension , offering a hybrid setup in Barcelona , full-time dedication and an international working environment where English is the working language .

Mission of the role

Your mission will be to design, develop and support custom SAP ABAP solutions within SAP Transportation Management , ensuring that complex transportation and logistics processes operate efficiently within an SAP S/4HANA landscape .

You’ll combine strong ABAP on HANA development expertise with modern SAP technologies such as RAP, CDS Views and Fiori extensibility , while supporting integration scenarios involving SAP BTP APIs and SAP BRIM .

The objective is to deliver reliable, scalable and maintainable technical solutions that connect business requirements with effective SAP transportation management processes.

What your day-to-day will look like in this project

▫️ Design, develop and maintain custom SAP TM solutions using ABAP on HANA , including enhancements, user exits, BAdIs and custom programs.

▫️ Build and extend business logic using SAP RAP (RESTful Application Programming Model) to support modern, cloud-ready application development.

▫️ Develop and enhance SAP Fiori applications through in-app extensibility techniques.

▫️ Design and implement Core Data Services (CDS) Views for reporting, analytics and application logic.

▫️ Configure and extend SAP TM PPF (Post Processing Framework) for automated actions, output determination and follow-on document processing.

▫️ Support integration scenarios using SAP BTP APIs , including troubleshooting connectivity issues and maintaining existing integrations.

▫️ Apply knowledge of SAP BRIM (Billing and Revenue Innovation Management) to support integration between transportation, billing and revenue processes.

▫️ Translate functional requirements into technical specifications and end-to-end custom developments .

▫️ Perform unit testing, support system integration testing and prepare technical documentation .

▫️ Collaborate with SAP functional consultants, solution architects and business stakeholders to deliver solutions aligned with operational requirements.

▫️ Investigate technical issues, perform debugging and provide production support for SAP TM custom developments .

▫️ Contribute to improving application performance, code quality and maintainability within HANA-based environments.
