We are conducting a confidential search on behalf of a private client seeking a professional, reliable and experienced
Estate Management Couple
to take responsibility for the day-to-day management, maintenance and smooth running of a private country estate in Spain.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENT – EXPERIENCE OF WORKING ON PARTRIDGE SHOOTING ESTATES
This is a specialist appointment, and applicants must have previous hands?on experience working on established shooting estates, ideally those specialising in
driven partridge shooting
.
We are particularly interested in hearing from couples who have worked together in similar environments and fully understand the standards, responsibilities and seasonal demands associated with managing a private shooting estate.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsibilities will be allocated according to each individual's skills and experience and may include:
Day-to-day estate management, maintenance and general upkeep.
Supporting the preparation, organisation and smooth operation of driven partridge shoots.
Understanding and assisting with the practical requirements of game management, shoot days and associated estate activities.
Maintenance of estate buildings, grounds, machinery and equipment.
Ensuring the estate is presented and maintained to consistently high standards.
Supporting the management of the private residence, housekeeping and hospitality requirements.
Liaising with the estate owners, guests, contractors and external suppliers.
Taking a proactive, hands?on approach to the overall running of the estate.
We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate:
Proven experience working on shooting estates, with specific experience of driven partridge shooting.
A practical understanding of the preparation, organisation and operation of shooting days.
Strong property maintenance, grounds management and general estate management skills.
Excellent housekeeping, hospitality and organisational capabilities.
A trustworthy, discreet, self?motivated and hardworking approach.
The ability to work independently and take responsibility for maintaining exceptionally high standards.
A genuine interest in country pursuits and rural estate life.
A willingness to relocate to Spain for a long?term appointment, where necessary

Please note: Previous experience working on shooting estates, particularly driven partridge estates, is a fundamental requirement for this appointment.
