, no demore su solicitud. The lab focuses on implementing cutting-edge single-cell technologies to discover new druggable susceptibilities in leukaemia and other blood malignancies. The goal is to identify new targets to prevent drug-resistance and relapse in these terrible diseases. We are looking for a wet lab candidate with a strong background in cancer biology, epigenetic analysis and/or stem cell research. Knowledge of single-cell sequencing, clonal analysis, biostatistics, and/or genomics will be appreciated but is not required for this position and the candidates will be trained in all appropriate skills for this project. The position is for 2 years, with the potential to extend this contract up to 2 additional years. This level of support makes this an excellent opportunity for candidates looking to transition to an independent research-focused position.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Independently design and test biological hypotheses. Plan, perform and interpret experiments. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary research team, tapping into the expertise of fellow researchers and external collaborators. Contribute to a culture of scientific excellence, efficiency, and teamwork. Contribute to other lab projects and to the maintenance of protocols and laboratory resources in the group. Critically analyze analytical results, participate in scientific discussions and in preparation of diverse forms of scientific communication (seminars and conferences). Participate in the project activities: meetings, presentations,



visits to other labs, collaboration, exchange of data sets, preparing project reports/deliverables. Perform excellent research according to the high standards of the lab and the IRB Barcelona. YOU HAVE Ph D in a relevant Life Sciences field. At least one publication as first-author in a top-ranked journal (ranked Q1 in a life sciences field) Experience in hematological malignancies, including ex vivo and in vivo experiments. Demonstrated ability to design and conduct experiments independently, particularly in the area of single-cell genomics (at the very least, single-cell RNAseq). Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively. Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Attention to detail and accuracy. Proficiency in English (both written and spoken). Highly motivated, enthusiastic and collaborative person. Willing to keep on learning. Ability to work independently in a demanding research environment. YOU MIGHT ALSO HAVE Familiarity with acute myeloid leukemia models, including patient derived materials. Experience with CRISPR screening techniques. Experience with computational data analysis of single-cell genomics data. Ability to secure additional funding, such as grant-writing or fellowship-writing skills.
