About the role

We're looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to join our Platform team and help us build the platform that lets every engineer at seQura ship safely, quickly, and on their own.

seQura is expanding into new international markets, and the platform has to grow with it without growing its cost at the same pace. At the same time, AI is changing how infrastructure is built and run. We already put AI agents to work on our everyday platform work, from reviewing infrastructure changes and explaining plans to helping engineers resolve incidents on their own. Our goal is to go much further: independent agents working across the whole scope of the platform,



with engineers who decide what matters and own the outcome.

You'll work in a cloud-native AWS environment, in a regulated fintech, where security, compliance, and reliability are part of the product we offer to the rest of engineering.

How we build at seQura

AI-assisted development is how our engineers work every day. We use AI agents to think through problems, write, review and iterate on code, and we're looking for engineers who already work this way, or are actively making the shift.

What matters to us isn't whether you know the syntax and idioms of your preferred programming language or tech stack by heart. It's whether you understand the problem you're solving, can explain the business logic behind it, and own every line you ship, no matter who (or what) wrote it first.

AI helps you move faster, challenge assumptions, explore different approaches and improve your solutions. But knowing which questions to ask, making sound technical and product decisions, and taking responsibility for the outcome is always up to you.

Our technical interviews reflect this approach: you'll use your own AI tools, and we'll ask you to walk us through your solution, both the business reasoning and the code.

Team Mission

To empower engineers with secure, efficient, and compliant infrastructure, while continuously improving through automation and collaboration.

What we own

- Our multi-account AWS foundation and the Kubernetes (EKS) clusters where seQura's products run

- Infrastructure as Code with Terragrunt, delivered through pull requests and Atlantis

- Deployment and GitOps tooling: Helm charts, shared deploy configuration, and CI/CD pipelines

- The observability stack used across engineering: metrics, logs, traces, and alerting

- Security and compliance foundations: secrets management, access control, PCI DSS, and the controls required to operate regulated entities across multiple countries under regulations such as DORA, NIS2 and those still to come.

- Internal developer tooling, including the AI agents and Claude Code plugins that engineers use to work with our platform on their own
