ICON seeks a field-based Clinical Trial Liaison in Spain to support European clinical trials by building investigator relationships, providing scientific guidance, and optimizing patient enrollment strategies. This position requires a doctoral degree and clinical research experience in pharma, biotech, or CRO settings, with travel up to 75% required.

Responsibilities

- Build and maintain relationships with investigators, site staff, and key stakeholders
- Provide scientific and protocol training to study teams on trial design and procedures
- Develop and optimize site-level enrollment strategies to improve recruitment and retention
- Represent studies at site visits, meetings, and industry conferences
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve trial outcomes and enrollment processes

Requirements

- MD, PharmD, or PhD doctoral degree
- Clinical research experience in pharma, biotech, or CRO environments
- Strong scientific and medical knowledge of clinical development
- Established scientific and clinical network in Europe
- Fluency in English and Spanish medical language
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Ability to interpret complex medical data and ensure compliance
