The Company Our client is a recruitment consultancy specialising in IT, Finance, HR, and Digital Technology. We are currently looking for a Databricks Data Architect to join a remote project with an approximate duration of 9 months. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing data products in Databricks and DBT, delivering hands-on code within an established CI/CD framework, and supporting the migration and modernisation of Treasury-related data solutions. The role requires a strong understanding of inbound data flows, the ability to create calculations and transformations in DBT, and experience defining scalable data architectures and building robust data products. The consultant will play a key role in two main project deliverables: Supporting the migration of a legacy Treasury solution from SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) to Databricks, ensuring data integrity, scalability, and compliance with architectural standards.



Providing architectural support for existing Databricks solutions built on top of a legacy database environment, helping optimise data structures, transformations, and overall platform design. Solid expertise in data architecture and data product development. ~ Experience designing and implementing data transformations, calculations, and data models. ~ Good understanding of inbound data flows and data integration. ~ Previous experience in data migration and modernisation projects. ~ Previous experience within a Treasury environment is essential, with a solid understanding of treasury concepts, processes, and terminology. ~ Good working level of English. ~ Ability to work independently in a remote project environment. #
