El Sauceral is a traditional agricultural estate located 70km south of Madrid, near Toledo, nestled in the idyllic countryside of Castilla La Mancha. The estate produces high-quality wine and first-class olive oil. In addition, an exclusive hunting-lodge is part of the business. We are looking for a committed, competent and complementary couple with strong entrepreneurial spirit for the comprehensive management of our estate in the role ofGeneral Management (m/f/d)Agricultural Estate / Hunting Lodge Tasks
* Man‘s tasks: o Overall responsibility for a proper management of the estate in close coordination with the owner o Personnel management and development: Leading a team of agricultural professionals, household and hunting personnel o Training and supervision of employees to ensure quality and efficiency o Organization and monitoring of maintenance work as well as external service providers o Budget responsibility: planning, cost management, increasing efficiency without compromising on service and quality o Procurement and price negotiations o Ensuring smooth operation in all areas (viticulture, olive oil production, hunting) o Communication with the owner and business partners
* Woman’s tasks: o Management of the estate office o Taking care of the bookings o Management and organization of the household and the lodge (housekeeping and guest services) o Responsible for the garden, an environmentally friendly green oasis, around the estate Profile
* Man‘s profile:



o Several years of experience in managing a farm or comparable property o Ideally, knowledge of viticulture, olive oil production and hunting operations o Strong leadership skills and experience in employee development and training o A high level of organizational strength, initiative and entrepreneurial thinking o Strong negotiation skills to achieve cost efficiency without compromising on quality o Practical skills and experience in coordination, executing and supervising repair and maintenance work o Fluent in Spanish and English (another foreign language is an advantage) o High level of commitment, flexibility, and willingness to live permanently on the estate
* Woman’s profile: o Several years of experience in a comparable position (managing of an upscale farm or comparable property) o Completed training in the hotel industry and tourism o Knowledge of bookkeeping and office-management o Fluent in Spanish and English (another foreign language is an advantage) o Leadership experience as well as competence in employee development and training o Organizational strength, initiative and entrepreneurial thinking
