Join us as Senior Backend Engineer to build the financial infrastructure that 750,000+ European SMEs depend on every day, from highly scalable APIs to robust banking services that handle real money, in real time, with zero room for mistakes. You will join one of our mission-based teams of 5 to 10 engineers,



led by a dedicated Engineering Manager. You will work alongside backend, web, iOS, and Android engineers, as well as Product Managers and Designers, in either a Product team (building features used directly by customers) or a Platform team (developing the scalable foundations that help Product teams move faster). Your team owns a clear mission end-to-end, following our "you build it, you own it" approach, and you will stay connected to the wider Backend community through our Backend Guild. Grow in technical leadership: lead design discussions, anticipate risks, and mentor less experienced engineers Contribute to discovery, make technical decisions, monitor production performance, and steadily raise quality standards Strong backend engineering experience with exposure to large-scale web application architecture and real production constraints Quality-driven: You write tests, set up monitoring, handle incidents methodically, and do root cause analysis You are comfortable working in squad teams with PMs, Designers, and other stacks, and you are fluent in English Quality drives the velocity our customers need Autonomy: Our org assigns one team lead per project across stacks, giving your team a clear mission and full autonomy on how it operates Go and Ruby are our primary languages. Our platform runs on a Kubernetes cluster hosted on AWS, with PostgreSQL as our database of choice.
