Your mission is to build and operate the systems, vendor relationships, and processes that keep Alpaca accurate, compliant, and on time across every corporate action, from announcement ingestion and entitlement calculation through processing, reconciliation, and client credit. Define timelines, acceptance criteria, and quality gates that ensure accurate, timely processing at scale. Vendor & Data Quality: Own relationships with corporate action data providers.



Build announcement review workflows and establish trustworthy announcement data as a prerequisite for automation. Automate Safely: Design staged automation for mandatory corporate actions and pre-reconciliation. General & Partner Readiness: DCoordinate the corporate-action work required for newly launched international markets. Upstream Data Governance: Partner with cross-functional engineering teams to prevent conflicts across Security Master, brokerage, and ledger systems. Cross-Functional Leadership: Exceptional ability to coordinate across Engineering, Operations, Compliance, Tax, Finance, and Legal. Technical Fluency: Comfortable working with data systems, vendor feeds, reconciliation workflows, and partnering closely with engineers on observability and data integrity. Operating Judgment: Strong judgment to weigh risk, operational efficiency, tech feasibility, time, and budget in a regulated self-clearing environment. Familiarity with how corporate actions feed tax reporting (cost basis, wash sales, 1099 event mapping) and Security Master tax attributes. Experience with B2B2C correspondent / broker-as-a-service models and partner sandbox/testing needs. AI-native PM workflow: recurring use of tools like Cursor, Claude, ChatGPT, or custom agents in PRD drafting, incident synthesis, data exploration, and prototyping.
