We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to join our Madrid Finance Hub and play a key role in strengthening our international accounting processes, financial close and group consolidation.

The Madrid Finance Hub supports headquarters, subsidiaries and branch offices worldwide. This is an opportunity to contribute to the development of an integrated accounting and reporting model, working closely with international teams and senior finance stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate monthly and annual accounting closes across international entities, ensuring accuracy, consistency and timely submissions.
- Develop and maintain group accounting policies, procedures and reporting structures.
- Review general ledgers, balance sheets, reconciliations and supporting documentation.




- Coordinate local accounting teams and external accounting providers.
- Oversee intercompany reconciliations and group financial consolidation.
- Coordinate external financial audits and monitor the resolution of audit findings.
- Strengthen accounting controls and contribute to ERP implementation, data migration and process improvement.
- Work closely with Controlling, Tax and HQ Treasury to ensure reliable and consistent financial information.

Requirements

- At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in accounting, including international accounting operations and group consolidation.
- Experience coordinating accounting teams or external providers and supporting financial audits.
- Strong knowledge of financial accounting, reconciliations, intercompany transactions and consolidation.
- Advanced Excel skills and practical experience with ERP systems.
- Professional proficiency in English and fluency in Spanish.
- Professional German is a strong advantage.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and a proactive approach to process improvement.
