Role Description The Crypto AML Manager is a full-time remote role responsible for overseeing anti-money laundering (AML) and compliance activities related to cryptocurrency and digital asset transactions. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring and analyzing transactional data for suspicious activity, conducting risk assessments, and maintaining AML frameworks tailored to crypto operations. The role involves developing and updating policies and procedures to align with evolving regulations, preparing internal reports, and supporting audits and regulatory reviews.

The Crypto AML Manager will collaborate with finance, legal, and operations teams to ensure controls are effective, provide guidance on new crypto products or partnerships,



and lead investigations and remediation efforts when potential AML issues are identified.

Qualifications

- Strong analytical skills, including the ability to interpret complex transactional data, identify patterns, and draw evidence-based conclusions.
- Knowledge of finance and financial services, particularly in relation to digital assets, payments, and compliance within regulated environments.
- Experience in accounting and auditing, with a focus on controls testing, documentation, and review of financial and compliance processes.
- Background in AML, compliance, or risk management within crypto or traditional financial institutions, including familiarity with KYC, CDD, and sanctions screening.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple priorities, and communicate clearly with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Solid understanding of general and regional AML regulations and guidance, and interest in staying current with evolving crypto regulatory frameworks.

Compensation

- An annual cash bonus of 15–25% of base is tied to control quality, case quality, and regulatory readiness. It is not tied to approved customers, volume, or revenue.
